Tattoo artist nabbed in Nueva Vizcaya drug bust

CAGAYAN – A tattoo artist was arrested Friday afternoon after he sold shabu to an anti-narcotics agent in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

A Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) report said suspect Nelson Monte, alias “Jay-ar,” 29, was nabbed by joint operatives of the PDEA and Bayombong police at about 3:20 p.m. during a buy-bust operation on Ponce Gym Extension St.

Monte was cuffed after he sold shabu to a PDEA agent who acted as a buyer.

Agents recovered from the suspect a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, two mobile phones, 750 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, among others. (Leizle Basa Inigo)
