Sa edad na 66, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang former beauty queen na makabalik muli sa Odeon of Herodes Atticus sa Athens, Greece kung saan ginanap ang 22nd Miss Universe noong July 21, 1973.
Yes, the same venue kung saan siya kinoronahan bilang pinakamagandang dilag sa buong sanlibutan.
Ani Margie sa caption ng litatro niya na nakatayo overlooking the site, “My Miss Universe moment. Revisiting the venue of Miss Universe 1973. It was an auspicious occasion to revisit the Odeon of Herodes Atticus situated just below the Acropolis and a few steps from the rock where St Paul preached. Herodes Atticus is a Greek benefactor who built the theater in memory of his wife in the 2nd century. I wore a gold laurel crown, a gift from @antonsd. 3 buses in our group joined me in photo ops. #stepsofpaul2019.”
Nostalgic hindi lang para kay Margie ang pagkakataon.
Indeed, marami ang natuwa sa ipinost niya kasama na ang current president and national director ng Mutya ng Pilipinas na si Cory Quirino na nag-comment ng, “Inspiring to reminisce on your journey of faith.”
Sana chinallenge ni Margie na gawin ng iba pang beauty queens na puntahan muli ang lugar na kung saan sila nanalo.
