Former Miss Universe adds star power to Kings

Miss Universe 2015 winner Pia Wurtzbach will serve as muse of crowd favorite Barangay Ginebra San Miguel when the PBA opens its new season on Sunday at the cavernous Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Wurtzbach, one of four Filipinas to bag the prestigious beauty pageant, leads a star-studded cast of lovely ladies who will join the parade of teams as part of the festivities to mark the start of the pro league’s 44th season.

San Miguel Beer has 2016 Miss International Kylie Verzosa as its muse while Magnolia has tapped Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez makes her second appearance as muse, this time for NLEX. Valdez, who was TNT’s muse in 2015, is the girlfriend of suspended Road Warriors star Kiefer Ravena.

Phoenix, on the other hand, will have by Yam Concepcion, who stars in ABS-CBN’s hit primetime show “Halik” while GMA talent Klea Pineda has agreed to serve as Alaska’s muse.

Blackwater, meanwhile, will have swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi as its muse.
