WARM weather will persist over most parts of the country, particularly in the morning, due to the prevailing easterlies, or warm and humid air coming from the Pacific Ocean, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration said yesterday.

PAGASA said Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms today.

It warned residents in these areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains in the afternoon or evening.

On the other hand, the northeasterly wind flow is prevailing over extreme Northern Luzon.

PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be felt in Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. (Ellalyn V. Ruiz)
