Streaking Ateneo guns for its 12th straight victory while University of Santo Tomas and Adamson square off in a crucial showdown today in the resumption of the UAAP juniors basketball action at the Blue Eagle gym in Quezon City.
Already assured of a twice-to-beat incentive in the Final Four round, the Blue Eaglets will try to repeat over the University of the Philippines Integrated School at 1 p.m. and inch closer towards a 14-game sweep which will earn them an outright berth in a best-of-three finals.
The Junior Maroons, smarting from a 31-point blowout loss to National University Bullpups over the weekend, are looking to prop up their woeful 3-8 card and keep their flickering hopes of making it to the next round alive.
Also expected to gain a fair share of the spotlight is the 9 a.m. opener between the Tiger Cubs (6-5) and the Baby Falcons (5-6) who are both eager to boost their respective semis bids.
