Regularly banded stags (blue wingbands) will be fielded in the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) 7-Stag Derby at the Pasay City Cockpit starting on Aug. 21.
LGBA president Nick Crisostomo said the event will have a guaranteed prize of P2 million for an entry fee of P11,000.
The other schedule of the event is on Aug. 25, 28 and Sept. 1 and 8.
Entries (weight limits of 1.7 kgs to 2.150 kgs) must be submitted before 2 p.m. on Sunday.
All LGBA members can field at least one entry each for this event, said Crisostomo.
For LGBA members who competed last Aug. 4 and 11 (7 –stag event, red wingbands), the finals will be on Friday.
The LGBA stag circuit, backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000, has attracted 197 entries so far.
