Dallas Mavericks guard Devin Harris was fined $25,000 by the NBA for the aggressive tirade he directed at a game official when he was ejected from a game on Wednesday.

Harris was fined for “aggressively pursuing a game official and failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection,” from the Mavs’ 121-118 loss to the Pelicans in New Orleans.

Harris lost his cool when official Ben Taylor whistled him for a personal foul when he collided with Pelicans guard Jordan Crawford.

He was quickly assessed a technical foul, then had to be restrained by teammates as he advanced toward Taylor, drawing a second technical and automatic ejection with 9:08 remaining in the first half. (AFP)
