The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced yesterday the arrest of sexy starlet Krista Miller along with eight others, including two sexy models, in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations over the weekend.

Miller (real name Krystalyn Engle), 26, was collared with one Aaron Medina by Quezon City police in a buy-bust operation on Gen. Tiburcio de Leon Street in Valenzuela City around 9:10 p.m.

Miller and Medina, who were onboard a motorcycle without plate number, reportedly sold to a police poseur-buyer a sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.17 grams for P3,000.

Police also confiscated from them four cellular phones believed to contain messages regarding their drug trade.

Miller, who starred in adult films “Altar” (2007) and “Hukluban” (2014), made headlines in 2013 for her alleged affair with actor Cesar Montano which caused his separation from his wife Sunshine Cruz.

In 2014, Miller was also reported to have visited convicted drug lord Ricardo Camata in a hospital, which she claimed as “purely business.”

The operation against Miller came after the arrest of part-time models Liaa Alelin Bolia, 24, and Jeramie Padolina, 30; and cohorts John Inri Barros, 22, Renato Hernandez Jr., 32, and Justine del Rosario, 19, around 12:40 a.m. Friday on A. Luna St., Brgy. Bagumbuhay, Project 4 in Quezon City.

Police said Bolla and Padolina, who were featured in men’s magazines, tagged Miller as one of their suppliers of shabu.

Barros, Hernandez, Del Rosario also admitted peddling illegal drugs.

Police recovered during the operation seven heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu, a sachet of dried marijuana, two cellphones and other drug paraphernalia. The P1,500 buy-bust money was confiscated from Barros.

QCPD Anti-drug cops on Saturday launched a follow-up operation to arrest big-time drug peddler Muhiddin and Ambay Sandigan, of New Lower Bicutan, Taguig, after Barros named them as his supplier of illegal drugs.

They were nabbed after closing a P50,000-worth drug deal on Sandoval Avenue in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City around 4:25 a.m.

Also confiscated from the Sandigan couple were a cellular phone and their Honda RS motorcycle.

The QCPD has filed appropriate charges against Miller and the other arrested suspects. They are all detained at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal.

The starlet refused to answer questions from the media.
