Those eagerly awaiting to see Coco Martin and Julia Montes together in the small screen should do well to exercise patience.
The premiere of their show “Sigabo,” has been moved to a later date.
ABS-CBN announced this in a statement sent to Tempo.
“The premiere of the upcoming series ‘Sigabo’ starring Coco Martin and Julia Montes, will move to a later date as preparations continue to make it an exciting offering that will bring a new viewing experience,” it said.
Meanwhile, “The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan” starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino will take over the time slot of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
“ABS-CBN and Coco Martin are most grateful to the millions of viewers who followed the journey of Tanggol in ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ every night making it the country’s most watched primetime series and breaking viewing records since 2023,” it said.
“The Alibi” will be followed by “What Lies Beneath” at 8:45 p.m., which is heading to its final chapter as well.
Airing next are “Love Scout” at 9:30 p.m., which stars Lee Jun-hyuk and Han Ji-min, and the Jerry Yan-led “Forbidden Flower.”
“Sigabo” marks Montes and Martin’s first team-up in four years.
They were last seen together in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
Prior, they appeared in several teleseryes including “Walang Hanggan,” “Ikaw Lamang,” “A Moment in Time” and “Wansapanataym: Yamashita’s Treasures.”
