The missing widow of the late former Barangay Balibago, Angeles City Captain Rodelio Mamac was found dead on Monday, Feb. 16, near a septic tank beside a former piggery at her residence in Angeles City following a police search.

Police identified the victim as businesswoman Maria Teresa “Tess” Mamac, who was positively identified by her children.

Her remains were unearthed and turned over to a funeral home for autopsy.

Angeles Mayor Jon Lazatin II has ordered police to locate a person of interest known only as “Doc.”

Meanwhile, Angeles Rep. Carmelo Lazatin Jr. strongly condemned the murder and offered a P200,000 reward for information leading to the suspect.

“There is no room for such a heinous crime in a moral, civilized society. I pray that the perpetrator will be swiftly brought to justice,” he said.

The Angeles City police station is conducting a follow-up investigation and vowed to hold those responsible accountable.
