GMA marked its 75th anniversary by reinforcing its position as the country’s leading media company, defined by ratings leadership, digital dominance, and sustained global recognition for Filipino storytelling.
Based on Nielsen Television Audience Measurement (TAM) data from January to December 2025, GMA remained the No. 1 channel nationwide, posting a net reach of 86.2 percent, or nearly 62 million viewers in Total Philippines. Together with GTV, I Heart Movies, and Heart of Asia, the network achieved a combined net reach of 87.5 percent, or about 63 million viewers.

Kapuso programs dominated the Top 30 most-watched shows nationwide, accounting for 27 entries. “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” ranked No. 1 overall, followed by primetime newscast “24 Oras.”
GMA sustained its digital dominance in 2025, ranking as the top Southeast Asian content creator for 23 consecutive months in the Entertainment and Media category, based on Tubular Labs data.
As of December 31, 2025, official GMA Network creator properties generated more than 74.4 billion video views—35.1 billion on Facebook, 26.3 billion on TikTok, 10.4 billion on YouTube, and 2.6 billion on Instagram.

GMA Integrated News (GMAIN) led digital news competitors in video viewership and engagement, recording over 18.5 billion video views across Facebook (6.6 billion), TikTok (9.9 billion), and YouTube (2 billion), and topping Facebook engagement with 467.5 million interactions, according to Tubular Labs and Hootsuite Analytics.
GMA Radio stations maintained leadership in Mega Manila in 2025, based on AGB Nielsen data. Super Radyo DZBB 594 posted a 44.5 percent audience share, while Barangay LS 97.1 Forever! recorded 47.6 percent. Outside Mega Manila, Barangay FM 93.5 led Dagupan in the third quarter with a 59.2 percent share. In the fourth quarter, Super Radyo DYSI and Barangay FM 93.5 in Iloilo posted 54.9 percent and 76.5 percent shares, respectively, while Barangay FM 92.7 in Baguio recorded 46.4 percent.

To celebrate its diamond year, GMA staged the TV special “Beyond 75: The GMA 75th Anniversary Special,” featuring Kapuso stars and personalities. GMA Entertainment also launched the “More Tawa, More Saya” campaign, marking milestone anniversaries of “Bubble Gang,” “Pepito Manaloto,” “The Boobay and Tekla Show,” “YouLOL,” and “Family Feud,” and rolled out the advocacy campaign “Be Juan Tama,” promoting responsible and growth-oriented content.

“Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” became GMA’s most-watched content on YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, surpassing 5 billion views since its June 2025 launch and earning YouTube’s Silver and Gold Creator Awards.
GMA Regional TV expanded its digital footprint as its YouTube channel surpassed one million subscribers and began livestreaming its four regional newscasts—One North Central Luzon, Balitang Bisdak, One Western Visayas, and One Mindanao—while mounting 100 regional events nationwide.
GMA Pinoy TV (GPTV) marked its 20th anniversary in 2025, delivering steady subscriber growth through partnerships with iWant and YouTube TV, alongside linear channel and TVOD launches. The completion of the IP Streaming Project further improved operational efficiency and cost savings.

GMA Pictures released a diverse film slate headlined by the box-office hit KMJS’ “Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie.” Other releases included Prime Video chart-topper “P77,” satirical comedy “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan,” romantic comedy “Everything About My Wife,” and MMFF entry “Love You So Bad,” co-produced with Star Cinema and Regal Films.
“Barangay Love Stories,” a podcast from Barangay LS 97.1 Forever!, was named Spotify’s Top Podcast of the Year in the Philippines.
GMA Public Affairs extended its awards streak in 2025. “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” won a Bronze Medal at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards for “Minahan sa Homonhon Island” and Best Infotainment Programme at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. “The Atom Araullo Specials” earned its fourth consecutive New York Festivals Gold Medal for “Pogoland,” which also won Best Documentary (Domestic Affairs) at the Association for International Broadcasting Awards.

At the Asian Academy Creative Awards, GMA Public Affairs secured wins for “Reporter’s Notebook: Asia’s Scam Cities,” “I Juander: History for Sale,” and “Biyahe ni Drew: YOLO sa Antique,” while investigative documentary “Lost Sabungeros” won Best Documentary Programme (One-Off). Revenge drama “Beauty Empire,” co-produced with Viu Philippines and CreaZion Studios, won Best Cinematography (Fiction).

Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo was named Asia’s Best Actor in a Leading Role for “Green Bones.” GMA Entertainment programs also earned multiple honors, including awards for “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Dingdong Dantes, “Family Feud,” “iBilib,” “Amazing Earth,” and “Bubble Gang.” GMA Pinoy TV programs likewise received recognition from Anak TV and the Migration Advocacy and Media Awards.
Entering 2026, GMA Network aims to deliver more innovative content, strengthen collaborations, and continue telling compelling Filipino stories across platforms worldwide.
