Seventeen years in, and Robi Domingo is still very much Kapamilya.
The ever-reliable host just renewed his contract with Star Magic during the “KapamILYa Forever: Here To Stay” signing last August 21, proving that for him, ABS-CBN isn’t just a workplace, it’s home.
“I stay here at ABS-CBN because I feel at home whenever I’m here,” Robi confessed, flashing the same sincerity that made fans root for him back in his “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus” days.
Now one of the most trusted hosts in the industry, Robi insists the job goes beyond lights and applause.
“When we take on shows, when we deliver spiels, and when we do events, it’s not really for the payslip or for the glory, but for elevating the standards for the Filipino people,” he said.
And elevate, he will.
Robi is set to headline Season 2 of “PBB Collab,” the groundbreaking ABS-CBN and GMA partnership that’s shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest television moments.
“I’m so surprised and that’s in a good way. I’m just so happy for both media channels, GMA and ABS-CBN, to have this big collaboration. Exciting!” he gushed.
Still, fans won’t have to wait long to see him in action.
Aside from “PBB Collab,” Robi remains a staple on “ASAP” and will return with the new season of “Idol Kids Philippines.”
From teen housemate to household name, Robi has built a career on trust, heart, and an unshakable love for the Filipino audience. With ABS-CBN as his forever home, it looks like this journey is only getting brighter.
