Rumors have been swirling for months about the supposed closeness between Jacob “Jake” Ang, son of San Miguel Corporation president Ramon S. Ang, and Atasha Muhlach, daughter of screen icons Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez. The elder Ang has now addressed the talk head-on.
“They’re just friends,” he told reporters during a recent media conference. “Si Atasha is a very nice lady, napakabait at napakaganda sobra. Kaibigan ng anak kong si Jacob.”
The statement comes after Jacob was once again spotted with the Muhlach family.
In a photo posted by showbiz site Fashion Pulis, Jacob could be seen standing behind Atasha. Whether or not they were holding hands was unclear, as two other guests obscured the view.
