Earl Christian Lantin, Sherlyn Tarroquin reign supreme in Catwalk PH 2025

Earl Christian Lantin and Sherlyn Tarroquin were proclaimed victors in this year’s Catwalk Philippines 2025 modelling competition held at the Sky Dome in Quezon City.

The dynamic duo slayed in the swimwear, luxe wear, haute couture and posing categories of the competition.

“This journey has transformed me. It opened my eyes to the diversity and depth of the industry,” Lantin said. “As someone who started as an aspiring model, I learned that modeling is not just about looks or skills it’s about character, humility, and how you treat the people around you.”

The 21-year-old Lipeño, said about his victory: “Winning the title was something I never expected. From a hesitant dreamer to a grand winner, this has been nothing short of a blessing. This victory isn’t just mine it belongs to everyone who believes in me. To the organization that guided and supported me, to my friends and fellow finalists who became part of my journey—thank you. I am deeply grateful.”

A proud Catandunganon, 20-year-old Tarroquin said: “I am deeply honored and overwhelmed with gratitude to be name as the Female Grand Winner for this year’s Catwalk Philippines. This journey has been a humbling yet empowering experience. It still feels surreal, I walked into this with hope, and low expectations — and to walk out as the Grand Winner is beyond what I imagined.”

“It has been a truly transformative experience,” said the senior accountancy student. “It pushed me to step beyond my comfort zone, find my inner confidence, and constantly strive for improvement. It open doors for mentorship, industry exposure and deeper sense of self-discovery for which I am truly grateful.”

Tarroquin ended: “It is a truly meaningful space where emerging talents like me can grow, thrive and be seen. Every walk, pose, and rehearsal taught me about respect, grace, and authenticity that I will surely carry with me on every step of the journey ahead.”

Catwalk Philippines is the country’s premiere modelling search, produced and organized by First Sun Production, with Michaela as main presenter, in partnership with Designers Circle Philippines.

Event Director and Producer, Rodel Mercado said: “Catwalk Philippines was more than just a competition—it was a tribute to passion, purpose, and growth. Reflecting on five months of preparation, the journey was about building a fair, transparent platform where aspiring models are empowered to rise with integrity.”

“With the support of Designers Circle Philippines, the commitment to bring back the true essence of modeling competitions—where skill, discipline, and attitude matter just as much as beauty,” Mercado added.

Trisha Mae Calabita, Psalm Francisco, Aia Kielle Lopez, Angeline Manait, Daniella Moustafa, Carmela Roxas and Nicole Tilap inched their way to the top 8 female contenders.

Their male counterparts were Samie Al-Ajarmeh, Kirby Chen, Jairus Culalic, Mohammad Rayhan Datu, Nico Dimaano, Timothy Lusabio and Neshiero Macawili.

Special awardees were: Jenelle Odiame, Most Photogenic Award (Female) and Timothy Lusabio, Most Photogenic Award (Male); Best in Swim wear (Female) – Carmela Roxas and Best in Swim wear (Male) – Jairus Culalic; Best in Couture (Female) – Nicole Tilap Best in Couture (Male) – Timothy Lusabio; Face of Heseneya (Female) – Aia Lopez and Face of Heseneya (Male) – Jairus Culalic.

Michaela proclaimed Aia Lopez and Timothy Lusabio as their newest brand ambassadors.

Special guest performers were Rian Kyle Aragon, John Kenneth Fukuhara and from the Sparkle Artist Center, newest PPop boy band Cloud 7.

Hosts were Angela Okol (Miss Manila Tourism 2023) with Ignis Novus artists Caleb Alvarez and Charles Dion.
