University of Perpetual Help Dalta rediscovered its form and frustrated Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-19, 25-17, 17-25, 25-23, to end its second-round slump in the NCAA Season 100 women’s volleyball at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Sunday, May 4.
Reeling from a four-game slide which began April 4, the Lady Altas had finally regained their composure, delivering superb showing on both ends to improve their slate to 8-5, while putting themselves back on the winning track.
The Lady Generals, on the other hand, fell to a 3-10 hole.
Shai Omipon and Camille Bustamante took charge for Perpetual as they poured in 16 points each with the former also listing 12 excellent digs in their 2-hour and 4-minute duel against EAC.
Also starring for the Las Piñas-based squad were Winnie Bedaña and Geraldine Palacio who added nine points apiece.
Elliza Alimen posted 17 points while Cara Dayanan and Jamaica Villena combined for 22 in a losing cause for the Lady Generals.
Up next for Perpetual is sixth-seed San Sebastian (7-6) on May 16, while EAC clashes with Jose Rizal University (1-12).
