Kazakhstan’s Zhetysu VC flashed its dominant form once again and swept Jordan-based Al Naser Club, 25-10, 25-15, 25-11, to book its quarterfinal ticket in the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City Tuesday, April 22.

The Kazakh hitters wasted no time in dismantling the Jordanian squad to sweep their preliminary assignments after their opening game’s 25-16, 25-17, 25-17 victory over Creamline last Monday, April 21.

With the defeat of Al Naser, the Cool Smashers got a free ticket to the quarters with a 1-1 mark in Pool A.

Creamline is the first of the three Philippine clubs to enter the quarters. Petro Gazz (Pool B) and PLDT (Pool D) try to follow suit when they go up against separate rivals later Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Vietnam’s VTV Binh Dien Long An shrugged off a slow start and booted out Iran’s Saipa Tehran, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15, to likewise made it to the quarters.

Thi Nhu Quynh Vi and Natalia Lijewska conspired for 38 points to anchor the Vietnamese group, while Thi Thanh Thuy Tran unloaded 15 points.
