Hand grenade, ammos found in paper bag in Tondo

A hand grenade and some ammunition were found inside a paper bag left on a street in Tondo, Manila on Monday.

Police said a concerned citizen reported that an unidentified person left a suspicious white paper bag on Moriones Street in Tondo at around 5:15 p.m.

Police retrieved a hand grenade and six live ammunition of unknown caliber from the said white paper bag.

The recovered items were brought to the Manila Police District for examination. (Minka Tiangco)
