A lone bettor from Laguna became an instant millionaire after winning the ₱31.9-million Lotto 6/42 jackpot, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

According to the agency, the bettor correctly guessed the winning combination 20-21-14-41-06-12 during Thursday night’s draw, Aug. 13.

The winner will receive the jackpot prize of ₱31,911,511.47, subject to a 20 percent tax under the TRAIN Law.

Meanwhile, 32 bettors who correctly guessed five of the six winning numbers will each receive P34,375.

The ₱25,165,541.16 Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot, however, remains up for grabs after no bettor correctly guessed the winning combination 03-39-38-23-26-14.

Seven bettors who correctly guessed five of the six winning numbers will each receive P185,714.28.

Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

To claim the jackpot, the winner must present the winning ticket and two valid identification cards at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City.
