A policeman and his female companion were arrested by authorities during a buy-bust operation Saturday in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Police Regional Office 3 spokesperson Lt. Col. Soledad Elefanio identified the arrested suspects as Patrolman Jerick Francisco, assigned to 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and Eileen Perez, a resident of San Antonio, Mexico, Pampanga.
Confiscated from the two were two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000.
Also seized were one unit of Oppo A5, a P1,000 bill used as marked money, 19 pieces boodle money, a Glock pistol with magazine loaded with 11 live ammunition, and one Yamaha Mio sporty.
The two are facing charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Art II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
