The Asian Hospital and Medical Center on Saturday warned the public against persons claiming to be working for the institution and soliciting assistance pertaining to the ongoing campaign against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Please be careful and do not believe people who pose as our employees and (are) asking for solicitations,” the hospital said in a statement.

“Asian Hospital deeply cares for the healing of our community and we condemn people taking advantage of the situation and doing such devious acts,” it stated.

Just last April 2, the Asian Hospital announced that a total 11 of its patients have recovered from the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and have been discharged.

Currently, the hospital has admitted 34 COVID-19 patients and 29 persons under investigation (PUIs), among whom are 15 who are confined in the intensive care unit. (Jeffrey Damicog)
