The two-classroom buildings constructed under the “RP-US Balikatan 2018” or “BK34-18” in Nueva Ecija and Tarlac were turned over to the Department of Education (DepEd) in separate ceremonies held last Wednesday.

Lt. Col. Isagani Nato, Armed Forces of the Philippines-Northern Luzon Command (AFP-NOLCOM) spokesman, said for both events included a ribbon cutting, unveiling of building marker, blessing of the school building and turn-over of a symbolic key. In Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, the school building built as an opening salvo of the BK34-18 was turned over to the Cabu Elementary School, represented by DepEd Supervisor Nestor Lunderio.

In Tarlac, the school building was turned over to the Calangitan Elementary School in Capas.
