ZAMBOANGA CITY (PNA) – Arestado ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng pulis at military ang isang leader kidnap-for-ransom-group (KFRG) na kilala din bilang dealer ng illegal drugs sa Zamboanga, Sibugay.
Kinilala ni Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) director Chief Supt. Billy Beltran ang suspek na si Hasim Calon alias Gingging at Husien na naaresto Sabado ng hapon sa Barangay Tenan, Ipil.
Naaresto si Calon sa bisa ng isang warrant of arrest para sa kasong kidnapping with ransom na nakasampa sa isang korte sa Ipil town.
Ayon pa kay Beltran, si Calon ay sub-leader ng Barahama Alih KFRG at nadawit sa kidnapping ni Australian national Richard Warren Rodwel noong December 2011 at isa pang biktima na si Joel Indino noong January 2011 sa Ipil.
Nakumpiska naman kay Calon ang anim na sachet ng hinihinalang shabu.
