Two teenagers died in a motorcycle crash along Marilaque Highway in Baras, Rizal, early Sunday, August 23.
Police said the victims, both 19 years old — the rider and his passenger — were traveling toward Tanay when their motorcycle crossed into the opposite lane around 12:45 a.m. and collided head‑on with a Toyota Tamaraw FX in Barangay Pinugay.
The impact left the teenagers with severe injuries.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital but were later pronounced dead.
Authorities arrested the FX driver as the case is being investigated for possible charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide and damage to property.
