After a high-profile parting of ways with TV5, ABS-CBN is charting a new course: entering a deeper collaboration with Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. (AMBS), the company behind ALLTV.
Beginning January 2 next year, ALLTV will significantly expand its Kapamilya lineup, airing several of ABS-CBN’s most popular and enduring programs.
Viewers can expect familiar primetime staples such as “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo”, “Roja”, “What Lies Beneath”, and weekend favorites “ASAP” and “TV Patrol”.
Noontime juggernaut “It’s Showtime”, headlined by ABS-CBN’s biggest draw, Vice Ganda, will also join the roster, signaling ALLTV’s intent to compete more aggressively in the free TV landscape by banking on proven, mass-appeal content.
Despite the shift, ABS-CBN assured audiences that accessibility remains a priority. Its prime programs will continue airing on A2Z, while “It’s Showtime” and “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0” will still be seen on GMA—highlighting the network’s multi-platform, multi-partner strategy in their post-franchise era.
ABS-CBN emphasized that all obligations to TV5 and MediaQuest have been settled in accordance with their agreement.
In a statement, the network expressed gratitude to businessman Manny V. Pangilinan and TV5 for giving ABS-CBN a “home” during a critical period.
ABS-CBN’s relationship with AMBS, meanwhile, has been steadily building.
Partners since 2024, AMBS has already been airing select Kapamilya programs under the Jeepney TV brand, along with “It’s Showtime” and “TV Patrol”.
The expanded deal with ALLTV marks a natural progression, underscoring ABS-CBN’s apparent resilience and adaptability as it continues to reinvent itself.
