Newlyweds Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles are still on a high following what they both describe as a “magical” wedding.

The couple shared how even the weather seemed to cooperate with their plans.

Hours before the ceremony, rain poured, threatening to dampen the occasion. But their ninong, Kuya Kim Atienza, assured them it would only last an hour. True enough, the rain stopped right on cue.

What followed was, by Kim’s account, nothing short of picturesque. The sky shifted into hues of pink, orange, and violet—an almost surreal backdrop for their mermaid-themed celebration. At one point, she even noticed a cloud resembling a mermaid.

“Medyo nawindang kami,” she admitted.

For Jerald, however, the highlight was simple.

“Ang wish ko lang naman, masaya ang bride ko,” he said.

By all indications, that wish was granted.

The couple also revealed that the timing of their wedding held special meaning.

Held on March 1, the celebration extended into Jerald’s birthday—marking the first time he celebrated it with both parents present.

Their latest film, “Wonderful Nightmare,” was originally set for release on Feb. 26, but their home studio, Viva, moved the playdate to April 4 to give way to the wedding.

The gesture underscored how close Kim and Jerald are to the company, with several Viva executives even attending the ceremony.

As for their first night as husband and wife, Kim did not hold back.

“Lasing kaming lahat,” she said.

Instead of any grand romantic moment, the two simply found themselves talking briefly about the day that had just passed—before falling asleep.

“Five minutes lang kami nag-usap. After nun, tulog na.”

A fitting end to a day they will remember for a long time.
