Actor Matteo Guidicelli shared photos on Sunday evening, February 8, of an accident that occurred at his family’s restaurant, Da Gianni Cucina Italiana, located in Westgate Molito, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

According to Matteo, a vehicle crashed into the restaurant, causing significant damage to the establishment’s al fresco dining area.

The actor expressed deep gratitude that no customers were hurt in the incident.

Two staff members who were inside the restaurant were immediately brought to the hospital for medical evaluation.

Matteo shared the full account of what he described as a “freak accident” through a social media post.

“At around 4:00 PM today, an incident occurred where a vehicle rammed into our al fresco area. We are grateful to share that no guests were injured. All guests had already left by around 1:30 PM, so the area was clear at the time.

“Two of our staff members were inside the restaurant (pizza oven area) and were immediately brought to the hospital for medical checks. Thankfully, there are no serious injuries, and they are currently being taken care of.”

He added that the damage was confined to the exterior portion of the restaurant.

“Our interior dining area remains open, while the al fresco side is temporarily closed for safety and repairs,” he said.

Matteo took the opportunity to remind the public about vigilance and safety.

“This serves as a reminder to all of us—no matter where you are, always stay alert. Watch your six! Awareness and prevention are essential.”

He ended his message with a note of faith and gratitude: “Above all, we thank the Lord. He truly kept my team safe today… To God be the glory. Thank you for your concern and prayers. Please stay safe, everyone.”

As of this writing, investigators have yet to release information about the driver involved in the crash.
