Woman’s body found stuffed in plastic drum in Antipolo City

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered stuffed inside an abandoned plastic drum on Marcos Highway in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City, on Thursday, January 22.

According to Antipolo City Police, several civilians reported seeing a human foot protruding from a sack placed inside a green plastic drum left near a roadside cliff.

Responding officers confirmed the presence of human remains inside the container, which also emitted a foul odor.

Authorities noted that the victim bore distinctive tattoos, including a snake with the name “NOIMI” on her left thigh and a spider image on her left abdomen.

Police immediately cordoned off the area as investigators work to establish the woman’s identity and determine the circumstances surrounding her death. (Patrick Garcia)
