Dennis Trillo won big at the prestigious Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) held in Singapore recently being named Best Actor in a Leading Role for his outstanding performance in the critically lauded film“Green Bones.”
Accepting the award on behalf of Trillo and the production team of “Green Bones” was GMA Network executive and Philippine Ambassador for the Asian Academy of Creative Arts, Gigi Santiago-Lara.
Note that GMA secured a total of 15 National Winners at the 2025 AACA.

These include wins for “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho: Inside the Crocodile Cage” (Best Infotainment Programme); “Reporter’s Notebook: Asia’s Scam Cities” (Best Documentary Series); I Juander: History for Sale” (Best Documentary History); “Biyahe ni Drew: YOLO sa Antique” (Best Lifestyle Programme); “Lost Sabungeros” (Best Documentary Programme – One-Off); “Beauty Empire” (Best Cinematography – Fiction); and Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza (Best Screenplay).
Other national winners were “Eleksyonaryo: The Dapat Totoo Digital Exclusives” (Best Short Form – Scripted); “DigiDokyu: The Rice God of the Cordillera” (Best Short Form – Unscripted); Dingdong Dantes (Best Entertainment Host); “Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy Ang Kuwento” (Best Comedy Program); “Stars on the Floor” (Best Music or Dance Programme); “The Voice Kids” (Best Adaptation of An Existing Format – Non-Scripted); and “Gemini” by Anjo Baranquel and Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose (Best Theme Song or Title Theme).
