In a world that’s become smaller yet more complex, more and more Filipinas are finding love in foreign lands, drawn to men from different cultures, or AFAMs (A Foreigner Assigned in Manila).

But beyond the picture-perfect romances lies a deeper story of identity, courage, and what it truly means to be chosen.

This is the soul of iWant’s newest original reality series, “AFAM Wives Club,” produced in partnership with Project 8 Projects.

The show offers a candid and unfiltered look into the lives of Filipinas who found love beyond borders—each story revealing not just romance, but resilience.

The series follows four remarkable women: Mari Fowler, who opens up about the joys and trials of motherhood; Keylyn Trajano, a reigning Miss Universal Woman and proud transgender Filipina breaking barriers; Julia Chu, a lawyer and entrepreneur mastering the balance between ambition and affection; and Nathalie Hart, who finds strength in single motherhood and starting anew after heartbreak.

Together, they form a sisterhood built not on competition, but on understanding and shared chaos.

Directed by JP Habac, produced by Antoinette Jadaone, and helmed by showrunner Rodina Singh, “AFAM Wives Club” celebrates the evolving identity of the modern Filipina—bold, compassionate, and unapologetically real. It dives deep into the messiness of womanhood, cultural connection, and belonging, proving that love, in all its forms, remains universal.

“AFAM Wives Club” streams every Tuesday at 8 PM, exclusively on iWant.
