Fans of singer Jessa Zaragoza are apt to rejoice.
She is out with a new single dubbed “Ang Sakit Sakit,” a collaboration with songwriter Vehnee Saturno.
The song marks their first musical project together in 13 years.
Note that Vehnee also penned Jessa’s 2012 hit “Nasaan” (used as the theme song for the GMA-7 Koreanovela “Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit”).

With “Ang Sakit Sakit,” Jessa once again delivers an emotionally charged performance that harks back to her signature style — heartfelt, raw, and unmistakably hers.
To those not in the know, Jessa is the legendary voice behind heartbreak anthems like “Bakit Pa?,” “Di Ba’t Ikaw,”and “Paano Kaya,” all of which are now karaoke staples.
Said Jessa, “’Ang Sakit Sakit’ is classic OPM heartbreak, brought to life with today’s sonic depth and emotional maturity. It reminds me of the pain in ‘Bakit Pa?’ — but this time, the hurt cuts from a deeper place.”

The track is a powerful lament of love lost to betrayal — a painful realization of being strung along, only to discover that someone else had already taken your place in your lover’s heart.
Distributed by Nine Degrees North, the song boasts an all-star production team including Bobby Velasco (arranger); Ardie de Guzman (guitars); Olúwatóbilóba “Tóbi” Samson Omójolà (drums); John Cruspero (vocal editor); Shadiel Chan (mixing); and Jan Fuertez (mastering).
Adding a layer of generational magic is Jessa’s daughter, Jayda Avanzado, whose involvement as vocal producer and backing vocalist brings a fresh yet familiar tone to the track — a true family affair predicated by great music.
“Ang Sakit Sakit” is now available on all digital streaming platforms, and its official lyric video is now live on Jessa’s official YouTube channel.
“Reuniting with Tito Vehnee felt like picking up a powerful conversation after years of silence,” says Jessa. “This song is for everyone who’s ever loved too hard — and been hurt even harder.”
