A storm called Chie Filomeno has arrived.

Apparently, the actress has had it with a certain “Sofia,” accusing the person of orchestrating an online smear campaign against her.

Though she never directly identified the person as fellow Star Magic talent Sofia Andres, social media users were quick to assume Chie is referring to her.

The two were once close but after Chie was romantically linked to Cebuano businessman Matthew Lhuillier — cousin of Daniel Miranda, Sofia’s longtime partner, both stars have been throwing subtle shade at each other online.

This time around though, it seems Chie was determined to go beyond that.

In a series of Instagram Stories posted on October 18, Chie shared screenshots and emotional messages suggesting that “Sofia” had allegedly hired influencers to spread hate against her on social media.

“I know she’s evil but didn’t expect her to go this low,” Chie wrote, describing the revelations as “truly heartbreaking.”

The actress went on to post screenshots of supposed Viber messages and direct messages that appeared to implicate “Sofia” in organizing the alleged smear efforts.

She also claimed that her former friend had blocked her earlier this month, which further fueled speculations that she is referring to the actress.

Chie’s emotional outburst didn’t stop there.

She addressed “Sofia”’s daughter in one post, wishing that the child would never experience the pain she was currently enduring.

“You post and act differently online but say and do completely different things behind it,” Chie warned, calling the behavior “cruel” and “evil.”

As of press time, Sofia has yet to issue a statement regarding the accusations.

Fans remain divided—some defending Sofia, while others praise Chie for speaking her truth.
