Make no mistake — even while still in a hospital, Kris Aquino is far from defenseless.

Frail in body but still fierce in spirit, the “Queen of All Media” has once again proven that illness has done nothing to dull her edge.

From her hospital room, where she continues treatment for numerous autoimmune diseases, Kris took to social media over the weekend with a fiery post aimed at those who’ve made a morbid pastime out of predicting her death.

“Sa lahat ng mga manghuhula nagsabing malapit na kong mamatay or yung mga nagbalita na patay na ko — alam ko you need to make money, but this is a cheap way to do it,” she wrote.

But the clap back didn’t end with the death hoaxes.

Kris also called out those who resurfaced an old 2019 video, one that made it look as if she was joking about earthquakes, a topic made especially sensitive following recent deadly tremors.

She was quick to set the record straight: the clip was six years old and taken “long before COVID,” a time when context was entirely different. Yet someone re-uploaded it to spark outrage, hoping to paint her as insensitive.

In classic Kris fashion, she declared: “Lay off me because mumultuhin kita, although medyo malayo ka na sa listahan ng mga may atraso sa kin…”

Ever the meticulous truth-teller, Kris then pivoted to address another angle of criticism — the expensive bag she was holding in that old clip.

“I have never held a government position nor have I been married to one,” she reminded her detractors.

“The money that paid for that bag came from the upload of the Lindohl and the subsequent trip to Japan. And it’s 100% tax-paid.”

From fending off false death notices to shutting down recycled scandals, Kris Aquino remains unflinchingly sharp.

Weak? Hardly.
