Actress-singer Arci Muñoz is taking on a new role.
Known for delivering powerhouse vocals for the rock band Philia, inasmuch as her daring roles on TV and movies, Arci has now been tapped by Miss Universe Denmark as Head of Empowerment and Sustainability.
The announcement came straight from the pageant’s official channels, proudly introducing the actress-singer as the newest member of its Official Council Committee.
The post beamed: “Empowerment meets sustainability … We proudly welcome Arci Muñoz as our Head of Empowerment & Sustainability.”
Arci is embracing the challenge with pride.
“I will do my best to empower women and communities and promote a more sustainable future,” she shared, promising to “take on the challenge” of real-world advocacy beyond the lights and cameras.
Fans quickly flooded social media with cheers, calling her appointment “so Pinay power!” and “another proud moment for Philippine entertainment.”
