Before her Japan stint, the Sta.Rosa, Laguna native played for the national team, Alas Pilipinas which she helped to win numerous medals including a historic silver in AVC Nations Cup in Hanoi, Vietnam last June.

She also helped NU claim its first-ever back-to-back championships along with long-time teammate Bella Belen.

The abroad stint wasn’t new for the fans as Solomon had already shown interest to play overseas after filing her application in the Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) Asian Quota Draft.
