Heaven Peralejo is one of those stars who seems to always be on the move. With teen-oriented dramas, campus rom-coms, and digital projects under her belt, she’s carved a space in the hearts of young audiences who see her as both aspirational and approachable. But away from the cameras, she admits that she craves something simpler: joy.

Between shoots and packed taping days, Heaven finds comfort in small escapes.

“I read, watch shows, and yes—I do play! Especially when I need to clear my mind or unwind between shoots,” she shared.

For someone living a life that’s constantly under the spotlight, these quiet pockets of fun help her stay grounded.

That love for entertainment and balance is partly why she took on one of her most talked-about endorsements yet: PlayTime, an online gaming platform.

It’s a move that raised some eyebrows, given how gaming apps often face criticism for encouraging unhealthy habits. But Heaven isn’t one to shy away from conversations that matter.

“PlayTime stood out to me because it champions entertainment as its core. I love that it encourages people to enjoy, but with responsibility and heart. Fun doesn’t have to be reckless,” she explained.

She’s candid about the concerns. “That’s a very real issue, and that’s why I appreciate PlayTime’s efforts in promoting responsible gaming. They’re aware of those risks, and they’ve been active in educating Filipinos to understand that all forms of fun have limits.”

For her, it all comes down to balance. “Gaming should be a source of entertainment, but always within the bounds of personal responsibility. That means recognizing limits, setting healthy boundaries, and making space to disconnect when needed,” she said.

At the end of the day, Heaven believes her fans—mostly teens and young adults who grew up watching her onscreen—will see the bigger message in her choice.

“It’s okay to take breaks, to find happiness in small things, and that play—done right—is healthy. Even online, you can be empowered, respectful, and responsible.”

And just like in the school dramas that made her a household name, Heaven is once again proving that growing up is about making choices—even the risky ones—while staying true to who you are.
