Rufa Mae Quinto confirms husband Trevor Magallanes’ death

Rufa Mae Quinto confirmed the passing of her estranged husband, Trevor Magallanes, via Instagram on Thursday, July 31.

She wrote:

“I’m deeply saddened by this development. Hope u give us time to mourn his loss especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get thru this by the help of God!”

Quinto clarified that the exact cause of death remains unconfirmed, stressing that even the family was still seeking information, and requested the public refrain from spreading rumors or misinformation.


She shared plans to travel to the United States with her daughter, Athena, to gather details and attend to family matters. She asked that only she or Trevor’s immediate family provide updates publicly.

Though separated, the couple remained legally married.

Magallanes was a former US Air Force member turned financial analyst.

Athena, Quinto and Magallanes’ daughter, was born in 2017.

Rufa Mae ended her post with a tribute:

“Hanggang sa huli. Hanggang sa muli. Mahal kita Trev.”

Her statement prompted an outpouring of condolences from fellow celebrities and fans, who expressed their support in the comments.
