‘Beauty Empire’ trumps competitors in pilot week

“Beauty Empire,” the groundbreaking collaboration of GMA Network, Viu Philippines, and CreaZion Studios – captivated audiences and outperformed its competitors during its pilot week.

The latest prime time offering of GMA Public Affairs won against rival programs in both Total Philippines and Urban Philippines, based on Nielsen TV Audience Measurement ratings data covering July 7 to 10.

In Total Philippines (PHINTAM), “Beauty Empire” charted an average combined (GMA/GTV) people rating of 4 percent (equivalent to 2.8 million viewers).

In Urban Phils., “Beauty Empire” registered an average combined (GMA/GTV) people rating of 4.4 percent (1.9 million viewers).

Headlined by Barbie Forteza as Noreen Alfonso, Kyline Alcantara as Shari De Jesus, and Ruffa Gutierrez as Velma Imperial, “Beauty Empire” also became the no. 1 show on Viu Philippines during its pilot week on television.

The revenge drama immediately resonated with viewers, drawing them into a high-stakes narrative that delves into the local beauty industry and challenges conventional beauty standards.

With such a promising first week, viewers can’t help but feel excited for the next episodes of the series.

Created by award-winning filmmaker Real Florido and seasoned screenwriter Rona Co of CreaZion Studios Creatives, the series is directed by Mark Sicat Dela Cruz.

“Beauty Empire” airs on GMA Prime, Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35pm.
