First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos will not be joining President Marcos Jr. on his upcoming visit to the United States, according to Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
In an interview on Wednesday, July 16, Castro was asked whether the First Lady would accompany the President and responded, “Hindi po.”
Castro confirmed, however, that the President will be joined by key Cabinet officials, although she refrained from sharing specifics.
“Yes, may mga makakasama po siya. Hindi ko lang alam kung may authority ako to give details on that. Mas maganda po siguro ‘yung DFA po ‘yung tanungin po natin patungkol po sa biyahe,” Castro said.
Marcos is set to travel to Washington, D.C., from July 20 to 22. (Betheena Unite)
