Young Korean actor-singer Choi Bo Min is quietly but confidently carving a space for himself in the ever-competitive world of Philippine entertainment.
Just three months since arriving in the country, the 24-year-old is already turning heads — not just with his looks and charm, but with real work to show for it.
Note that Bomin has already scored a major acting break in “Beauty Empire,” a GMA series where he shares the screen with established stars Barbie Forteza and Kyline Alcantara.
“Working with Barbie and Kyline is fun. They’re both quite laid back and they make me feel so at home,” Bomin shared.

He is also making moves on the music front.
Recently, he released his debut Filipino-language single, “Nakaraang Buhay,” under Universal Records — a clear signal that he’s in this for the long haul.
“It was hard learning the lyrics,” he admitted with a laugh. “But the production team was very patient and supportive. I really wanted to do it right.”
With a combination of charm, talent, and grit, Bomin is quickly proving he’s not just another passing face — he’s marketable, relatable, and determined. Brands are already taking notice.
One of his first local endorsements is with BlueWater Day Spa, a top-tier wellness brand celebrating over 20 years in the industry.
Interestingly, he shares this new task with Teejay Marquez, a well-loved Filipino actor-singer, making the pairing a standout blend of Korean and Filipino appeal.

A self-confessed fan of massages, Bomin shared that the spa’s Traditional Filipino Massage is now a favorite: “It was new to me — but so good, I fell asleep halfway through,” he said, grinning.
He’s also curious about the Korean HIFU treatment that the spa offers, which he says is also popular back home.
“I aim to try it soon,” Bomin said.
As he continues to immerse himself in Filipino culture and grow his fanbase, Bomin is showing all the signs of becoming the next big name in local showbiz — slowly but surely.
“I am thankful to the warm welcome afforded me by Filipino fans,” he said. “I hope to keep on working here and entertain everyone with what I do.”
