Wilbert Ross is not just renewing a contract—he’s doubling down on a promise.

A promise to keep pushing himself, to keep learning, and to keep showing up for the fans who’ve followed his journey from boy-next-door roles to headline star.

With the ink dry on his new deal with Viva Artists Agency (VAA), Wilbert is stepping into a new chapter that’s all about growth, trust, and full-circle commitment.

“This isn’t just about continuing what we’ve started,” Wilbert says. “It’s about making it better every time. I want to keep growing, and Viva has always believed in that process.”

Over the years, Wilbert has become a familiar and well-loved face in Viva’s film and series lineup. From the provocative lead in “Boy Bastos” to key roles in “Pagpag 24/7” and “Men Are from QC, Women Are from Alabang,” his range as an actor has only deepened.

But it was in the “University Series” that Wilbert’s name truly stuck, thanks to his portrayal of Arkin Sanchez—a role that struck a chord with viewers and helped spark a fan-favorite love team with Bea Binene.

Now, he’s set to reprise Arkin in a much bigger way.

In “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow,” the fifth installment of the hit series, Wilbert finally takes center stage as a lead opposite Bea’s Via. For fans, it’s the moment they’ve been waiting for.

“This is really for them,” Wilbert shares. “Sagot ko ’to sa hinihingi nila. And of course, working with Bea makes everything easier. She’s incredibly giving as a co-actor.”

Their chemistry has blossomed naturally over time, through projects like “Safe Skies, Archer,” “Chasing in the Wild,” and “Avenues of the Diamond.”

According to Wilbert, it all comes down to professionalism and mutual respect.

“Alam namin kung ano ’yung kailangan sa amin bilang artista. And Bea being Bea—you can’t ask for more from a scene partner. Ako, sinasalo ko lang ang binabato niya.”

But Wilbert’s ambitions don’t end with acting.

A singer-songwriter at heart, he’s also reigniting his music career with Viva. His earlier singles like “Di Ko Alam,” “Langga,” and “Makaluma,” along with his debut album “LAMPARA,” gave fans a glimpse of his soulful, romantic side. Now, he’s back in the studio, ready to share more.

“I really want to be a great singer, a real musician,” he says. “So I keep working on it—voice lessons, guitar lessons—tuloy-tuloy lang. Not just for myself, but for the people who listen and support what I do.”

There’s a quiet determination in the way Wilbert speaks. He’s not chasing quick fame or flashy headlines. Instead, he’s focused on long-term growth—on being a better actor, a more refined musician, and ultimately, a more complete artist.

“I’m thankful for Viva,” he adds. “They’ve supported me since the beginning. It’s a relationship built on trust, and that’s why I’m still here.”

Wilbert Ross is all in. And if this new chapter is any indication, he’s just getting started.
