Dart and Duyane Wade Decena, the rising stars from Koronadal City, will spearhead the Philippine campaign in two World Youth Championship Qualifying events (aged 16-23) this September in Qingdao, China.
The cousins will be joined by Moses Habil, Japeth Malaluan, Jessane Delos Santos, and Vince Digma in the 2025 PDC Asian Tour and Asian Championships where precious tickets are up for grabs for the WYC slated the following month.
The two winners in the qualifiers will also earn the chance to visit the captivating town of Wigan in Greater Manchester, England,
Other members of the PH delegation are by Serge Demicillo, Stat Dionio, Stephen Paculba, Lander Wabe, Lance Pepito, Nong Samones, and Kevin Arendela.
The WYC, which has £82,000 (around P6.2 million) prize pool, unveils on Oct. 13 where 128 elite players will duke it out for the ultimate prize.
Dart Decena is no stranger to big time tournaments having competed in the 2025 PDC Asian Tour in Singapore.
The same can be said of Duyane of Bentoy’s Batchoy who like Dart is also raring to follow the footsteps of Christian Perez. The multi-titled Perez also hails from the lovely city of Koronadal.
Considered as the as the leading youth darter in the country, Malaluan of Caloocan has proven his worth by winning the 2025 Soncuya Cup and Pinagbenga Festival.
Habil, 18, is the reigning Philippine Open youth champion. He’s from Zamboanga.
