Three separate fires broke out across Metro Manila between Friday night and Saturday, July 5, affecting Pasig, Manila, and Mandaluyong.
In Pasig City, a warehouse blaze in Barangay Pinagbuhatan erupted around 7:19 p.m. on Friday and lasted for nearly 18 hours.
The fire, which reached third alarm, caused major traffic disruptions and was fully extinguished by 1:10 p.m. Saturday.
The warehouse reportedly stored hardware and bathroom supplies.
On Saturday morning, a residential fire struck Santol Street in Sta. Mesa, Manila.
First reported at 9:31 a.m., the blaze escalated to third alarm within minutes, snarling traffic in the area.
No injuries were reported.
Just two hours later, another fire broke out behind Nuebe de Pebrero Elementary School in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City.
The flames reached fourth alarm by early afternoon, reducing several homes to rubble.
Firefighting operations continued into the day.
