Paris Olympian Aleah Finnegan joined the growing list of Filipino beauties who made special appearances at a Major League Baseball (MLB) game.
But the Fil-Am’s appearance this time was unique – enough to elicit oohs and aahs from the crowd.
The 22-year-old Finnegan the hurdled the ball straight to the Royals’ mascot Sluggerrr to the delight of everyone.
“Still flipping out over my time at @kcroyals,” the Kansas City, Missouri native wrote on her Instagram post.
“Thank you for such a wonderful experience,” she added.
Weeks after competing at the French capital, the two-time NCAA National champion was honored by Kansas City as its Sportswoman of the Year for 2024.
Other members of the PH team to the Paris Games were Emma Malabuyo and Levi Jung-Ruivivar.
First to appear in an MLB game was actress Liza Soberano who made the ceremonial pitch during the game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets last month.
Just recently popular singer and actress Lea Salonga sang the US national anthem before the clash of the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Angels.
Salonga has starred many times in musicals on Broadway, making her a big hit in the Apple City.
