PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. has responded to actress Carla Abellana’s viral Instagram post regarding a disconnection notice and her frustration over the water service in Tagaytay.
“We acknowledge the concerns raised by Ms. Carla Abellana regarding her billing and water service in Tagaytay. We value all concessionaires and strive to keep communication clear and accurate,” the company said in a statement.
“Ms. Abellana’s account remains active with a minimum consumption of 1 cubic meter, which explains the standard ₱194 bill, along with a ₱20 meter maintenance charge. In accordance with standard utility practices, all active accounts receive a minimum monthly bill regardless of usage,” it added.

PrimeWater also said it had visited the property and spoken with the caretaker to explain the situation and offer support.
The company also noted that daily water deliveries are being made in areas affected by low to no water pressure and reaffirmed its commitment to improving the overall system in Tagaytay.
The response came only a day after Abellana posted on June 28, Saturday, a screenshot of the company’s follow-up email about her unpaid bill, which included a disconnection notice.
She paid the bill but accompanied it with a pointed reply:
“Okay lang po. Halos wala din naman po kayo supply ng tubig everyday, so parang ganun na din naman po. But anyway, here’s the payment.”
Her post quickly spread online, sparking mixed reactions.
PrimeWater concluded its statement by assuring customers that their communication lines remain open for any further concerns.

But it wasn’t enough to placate the actress, who, again, took to social media to issue a rejoinder.
It read: “Visit to my property? When? Spoke with the caretaker? What caretaker? Daily deliveries? Really?”
