Jed Madela is suiting up for a super-charged July—cape optional, but vocal power guaranteed.
The singer, fondly called “The Voice” and “The Singer’s Singer,” is celebrating his birthday the best way he knows how: with a full-blown concert titled “Superhero,” happening July 5 at the Music Museum.
“July shows have kind of become tradition for me,” Jed shared. “It’s my birthday month, so it’s my way of giving thanks and looking back at the year that was.”
But this year’s celebration comes with extra flair. Jed’s not just singing—he’s storytelling.
“Each concert is a snapshot of what I’ve been through,” he explained. “Right now, I’m really learning the repertoire by heart. This is a full-on production, so I’m also working on building stamina, being physically fit, and overseeing everything behind the scenes.”

And the curtain doesn’t fall after the final bow.
On July 13, Jed heads to the UK for the Birmingham Barrio Fiesta at Woodgate Valley Country Park.
Come August 23, he’s back in Manila for Bravo Manila at The Theatre at Solaire, sharing the stage with Bituin Escalante and Sofronio Vasquez.
He’s also set to drop a new album under Star Music.
But what truly humbles him these days? “I didn’t realize how much of an impact I’ve had, especially on younger artists. That’s what pushes me now—to pay it forward.”
When he’s not hitting high notes, Jed’s in a different kind of creative universe: toy design.
“I’m a toy collector and art toy designer. I’m very active in the collectibles scene,” he said proudly.
He recently wrapped up ToyCon 2025, where he showcased his latest release: VuDU Boy, a self-designed character born from a 2009 sketch that’s since evolved into a full-fledged art toy.
