Julie Anne San Jose, one of this generation’s most versatile performers is radiating a renewed sense of purpose at 31.
Ac ting-wise, Julie Anne dives into fresh territory with her role in “Slay,” a murder mystery.
“It’s my first time, really, doing this kind of genre,” she shared. “Na-curious ako syempre kasi ang tagal ko nang hindi umaarte.”
Her last major acting project was the hit series “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”

She added, “I want to discover myself more. Kung anong pa ‘yung pwede kong ma-i-offer pagdating sa larangan ng pag-arte.”
Julie Anne’s romantic life is equally flourishing. She and actor-singer Rayver Cruz have been discussing marriage already.
She beamed, “We’re already at that point where we can settle down anytime.”
“We just don’t know when it will happen, but eventually, it will — in God’s time,” she went on. “There are still things I want to achieve for myself, but we can do it together.”
Her dream wedding? A traditional church ceremony, honoring her family’s values.

Julie Anne’s new perspective is about pursuing joy and balance.
“I’m already in that phase where I just want to enjoy life… I have work, I have my family, and I have Ray. So, what more can I ask for?”
Julie Anne just signed as the new face of beauty brand Symply G, promoting “simpleng ganda” with confidence and authenticity.
“I’m ready to focus on other things, like pursuing my happiness,” she said. “For the longest time, naka-focus ako sa career ko and studies. I want to make the most of it and enjoy life.”
