Tech gets a thrilling twist in InnoVision 2025.

Brought to life by the Philippine Coding Camp (PCC) and Animo Labs, the event gathered tech leaders, student prodigies, trailblazing startups, and the brightest minds in academia for two electrifying days of learning, hacking, and game-changing ideas.

Held from May 30–31 at the Verdure, Henry Sy Sr. Hall, De La Salle University, InnoVision 2025 was not just a conference—it was meant to open minds.

“The main idea is information dissemination,” said PCC founder Dr. Gino Sampedro. “We live in a digital world, but a huge swathe of the population is still not fully equipped to grasp the technology available to them. With InnoVision, we are not only educating them—we are empowering them.”

Dr. Sampedro made it clear: Tech isn’t just for techies. Whether you’re in education, entertainment, business, or beyond—tech is everywhere.

“Take for example digital anime,” he said. “Many think its use is limited to entertainment. But, truth be told, the medical field and athletics could also use the same technology.”

“Digitally-speaking, the world is now more connected. Given the ever-changing landscape, there is a huge need to arm yourself with know-how and understanding,” he added.

And PCC walks the talk.

Since 2020, it has trained over a thousand learners of all ages nationwide through immersive, hands-on programs. With partners like Toyota Motor Philippines, JTI Philippines, and universities including De La Salle University and Lyceum of the Philippines University, they’ve built a national network that champions accessible, future-ready STEM education.

InnoVision 2025 is PCC’s flagship initiative—an ambitious, country-wide series of conferences and hackathons that aim to bridge the gap between the classroom and the boardroom.

What’s a hackathon, you ask? Think of it as the Coachella of coding—a high-speed, high-stakes event where innovators build real tech solutions to real-world problems, often within 24-48 hours. It’s where fresh ideas meet real challenges—and where the next tech rockstars are born.

Adding gravitas to the event were keynote speakers like Usec. Leah J. Buendia, Ph.D. (DOST), Tirso Raymond Gutierrez (DICT), and international tech visionaries including Prof. Arun Kumar Sangaiah (National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan), Prof. Dong-Seong Kim (Kumoh National Institute of Technology, South Korea), and experts from Telkom University, Primakara University, the Philippine Space Agency, P&G, Kenvue, and Lancaster Group of Companies.

But InnoVision 2025 isn’t stopping in Manila. The movement continues with legs in Visayas this September, Mindanao in October, and a culminating event back in Manila this November.

At its heart, InnoVision carries a powerful mission: To position Filipino talent at the forefront of global digital industries and build a future shaped by technology, resilience, and inclusive growth.

It’s not just an event. It’s a movement. One that invites every Filipino to be part of the innovation story—and to help write the next chapter.
