Defending champion Perpetual Junior Lady Altas displayed their championship poise and finally dispatched the hard-fighting LPU Baby Pirates (25-18, 25-22, 25-20) on Monday, May 26 at the Arellano University Gym in Legarda, Manila.
Picking up the pieces from the shock 23-25, 18-25, 25-16, 25-18, 12-15 Game 1 loss to the Lady Chiefs, the Lady Altas made sure that they would not be denied for their second straight Finals appearance in the NCAA Season 100 girls’ volleyball tournament.
Sherrie Rose Acosta led the Junior Lady Altas with a game high 21 points – 19 off attacks – while
Jaja San Juan and Maya Javier contributed nine points each and Isabel Baser added six.
Aleah Mae Alipan paced LPU GenTri with bibe pts and Gellian Leo had seven.
Perpetual sets up Finals clash against Arellano in a best-of-three affair that will fire off on May 30 at the FilOil Arena.
The Junior Altas Spikers and Letran Squires will face off in the Juniors Boys Championship on the same play date at 5 p.m.
