Kathryn Bernardo is in a new era. It’s not one marked by a box office hit (though there have been plenty), nor a red-carpet moment (she’s had her share of those, too). It’s quieter, more inward. It’s about self-care. Real self-care.

And for Kathryn, that starts at home.

When she recently welcomed a Zion massage chair into her space, it wasn’t just another piece of furniture—it was a small revolution.

“I love how it just melts everything away,” she shares. “After long days on set, it’s become part of how I recharge.”

This isn’t a splashy endorsement or a standard celeb-brand handshake. It’s personal. Kathryn has never been shy about advocating for balance and boundaries in an industry that rarely allows for either. Her alignment with Zion—a brand rooted in the simple idea that rest should be accessible—isn’t just smart. It makes perfect sense.

Kathryn joins Heart Evangelista as one of the brand’s muses—a move that further blurs the line between luxury and lifestyle. “Comfort doesn’t have to be extravagant,” Kathryn says. “But it should be intentional.”

The collaboration came together through VCM The Celebrity Source, the agency that’s behind some of the most thoughtfully executed brand-celebrity pairings in the Philippines.

It helps that there’s real history here—real trust. VCM’s Managing Director Betchay Vidanes and Kathryn’s longtime manager Lulu Romero are close, and that energy spills into the work. It doesn’t feel transactional. It feels like a fit.

Of course, behind every seamless campaign is a team making the magic happen: Present during the contract signing and launch shoot were some of the driving forces behind the project: VCM Accounts & Business Development Managers Kali Vidanes and Tricia Mamburam, Star Magic’s Head of Marketing Alan Real, and other key members of the VCM and Zion teams.

So what does Kathryn’s version of unwinding actually look like these days? It’s slower mornings. No scrolling. Music on low. A session in the massage chair that feels more like a ritual than a routine. “It’s the kind of pause I didn’t know I needed,” she admits.

In a world that rarely stops spinning, Kathryn Bernardo is learning to slow it down—one breath, one chair, one choice at a time.

And that might just be the most powerful role she’s played yet.
