CAMP Gen. Francisco Macabulos, Tarlac City, Tarlac – A 34-year-old man is facing robbery-extortion and cybercrime cases for allegedly demanding money from his girlfriend so he would not post their sensual videos online, police said.
Investigators said the suspect, who was in a dating relationship with the victim, was nabbed in an entrapment operation here on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
The victim said she received messages from a dummy account created by the suspect with the name Prince Walker threatening to post their sexual encounters online.
The suspect demanded money from the victim to stop him from spreading the videos. The victim paid a total of P250,000.
Despite the payment, the suspect continued to demand more money from the victim, prompting her to report the sextortion to the police.
Police conducted an entrapment operation and apprehended the suspect.
